Holiday!
I’m off on holiday for a week and I don’t intend to have ANY run ins with ambulances while I am away. Except for my reading material — Katherine Howell has very kindly sent me a copy of her paramedic thriller ‘Frantic’, which I’ll be reading on the beach.

Well Mark, off to Malta eh,
The land of SJA and steeped in history too. Fab place to be as I have been there for a couple of weeks.

do you wonder if he thought of that before booking the holiday, i know i wondered.
now if he was going to Rhodes then Malta, that would be SJA history feast.

Yes that thought did cross my mind. When I went to Malta I wasn’t a member of SJA but was very interested in the War years and the problems that the Islands went through during that time. One day when the children are grown up I’ll go back there again.

Enjoy Malta and tell us all all about it when you get back. I fly out to Malta on 2nd September for a weeks holiday (I am a bridemaid at a wedding in Gozo!)

I liked it so much I sold up and bought a bar out there! No, not really, but I only went back to work on Thursday. Stay tuned. I didn’t think anyone would want a post with my holiday snaps
