Diagnosis: “Ate tuna and pickle sandwich. Now feels sick.”

What did he expect? Tuna and pickle has got to be one of the most vile fillings ever to grace a sandwich. I felt sick just thinking about it.

Eugh. Sounds like a cry for help on a par with a dozen packs of paracetamol to me.

  2. Lesath Says:

What?! I ate one of these literally fifteen minutes ago. They’re delicious!

  3. Jake Says:

Actually, considering the amount of vinegar I usually sprinkle on tuna, that doesn’t sound so bad to me either.

  4. Elizabeth Says:

I’m curious: given the excesses which go on in pubs round here on St Patrick’s night, is tonight regarded as a small-scale New Years Eve in ambulance-control circles ?

  5. Always Tired Says:

I am convinced there needs to be a new AMPDS card….card 40…the complete twat card!

Elizabeth, St Patrick’s Day is usually a busy night for us, especially if it falls on a weekend, but nowhere near as busy as New Year’s Eve. Fortunately I am not in today anyway. (I will be in on NYE again though, for the third year in a row… gah!)

“I will be in on NYE again though”

You know that NOW? They have you scheduled that far in advance? That’s scary.

I know my rota for the next three years. It’s the same five week pattern over and over again, so with the aid of Excel you can work out what your shifts are for the rest of your life if you want. I do tend to plan things well in advance because these shifts make a social life etc very awkward.

Of course when I got promoted to allocator I changed teams and my rota went forwards a week and I nearly had a mental breakdown over it ;)

Nothin wrong with tuna and pickle…

Ham, lettuce, and peanut butter, that’s another good one. :-)
